| Mine was Deathly Hallows, because that book summed everything up and tied up all the loose ends to the series. | |

| My favourite is Prisoner of Azkaban. DH and HBP were a close second and third tho. | |

| I gotta go with Order of the Phoenix. The books were entertaining up until then, but then OOTP got all dark and serious and real. Everyone starting honing their dueling skills. The happy good times were slipping away to be replaced by fear and excitement. The dark lord had returned, and nobody could deny it. Dumbledore duels Voldemort! Need I say more? | |

| I have to say that The Order of the Phoenix was definitely mine. Mainly for just a few scenes, though:
1 - Dumbledore's Escape from Fudge. I loved this conversation:
Cornelius Fudge: "You will now be escorted back to the Ministry, where you will be formally charged, then sent to Azkaban to wait trial!"
"Ah" said Dumbledore gently, "yes. Yes, I thought we might hit that little snag."
"Snag?" said Fudge, his voice still vibrating with joy. "I see no snag Dumbledore!"
"Well," said Dumbledore apologetically, "I'm afraid I do."
"Oh really?"
"Well – it's just that you seem to be laboring under the delusion that I am going to – what is the phrase – 'Come quietly.' I am afraid I am not going to come quietly at all, Cornelius. I have absolutely no intention of being sent to Azkaban. I could break out, of course – but what a waste of time, and frankly, I can think of a whole host of things I would rather be doing."
2 - Fred and George letting off all the fireworks.
3 - Fred and George creating the swamp in the corridor and leaving, thus starting the mass rebellion against Umbridge. | |

| Mine's GoF, closely followed by OotP. I just love the tight-knitted plot and the fact that there's always something exciting around the corner. | |
